Development of a Microcontroller Based System for Wireless Transmission of Physiological Signals

This study aims to develop a microcontroller-based system that enables real-time monitoring and wireless transmission of physiological signals (ECG, EMG, Temperature, SpO2, etc.) at high data rates and resolution using Wi-Fi technology. This study covers the collection of physiological signals and the wireless transmission and processing of these signals. In the study, single-channel electrocardiography (ECG) and electromyography (EMG) signals obtained from the Biopac MP36 module and AD8232 biosensor were transferred to a digital environment via Wi-Fi using the ESP32 microcontroller. In this context, it is aimed to develop a system that has a user-friendly interface for physicians and healthcare professionals to perform remote patient monitoring, facilitates physiological signal monitoring, and provides real-time patient monitoring.
