Infra-Red Concave Lens Mold with Moth Eye Microstructure Realized by Super-Contact Patterning of Latent Image

New super-contact patterning technique is applied to the concave lens mold. For minimizing the light diffraction, the photoresist is coated on the mask. The peeled resist film with the high-quality latent image is pasted on the lens mold. About 10 million holes are prepared. This structure is well transferred as the pillars on the thin polymer lens. This moth eye microstructure is confirmed to improve the transmittance of the far infra-red light over the wide wavelength region.
