Gate Driver on Array for Variable Refresh Rate Driving

We propose a Gate Driver on Array (GOA) that enables row selection operations to support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) driving in active matrix displays. The proposed GOA achieves row selection by storing control data during the programming phase and reactivating the selected GOA during the re-charge phase. Simulation results from a five-stage array demonstrate successful sequential output from a designated row, validating the GOA's ability to skip and resume rows as needed. These results contribute to evaluating the potential applicability of the proposed GOA for use in VRR-driven display panels.
