Textile-Based Transparent Flexible OLED for Wearable Healthcare Display

Wearable electronic devices have become essential elements in everyday life, and the demand for flexible and transparent devices is increasing. Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) provide uniform light and flexibility, and the transparent OLED using Mg:Ag electrodes has improved the transmittance of the electrodes by 16%. The transparent flexible OLED (TFOLED), featuring a super-thin 20μm PET substrate, maximizes lightweight and flexibility, allowing for applications on various substrates such as hydrocolloids. It is expected to offer effective treatments in optical-based biosensors and photomedicine fields.
