Smart Notification and Automated Reboot System for Cloud-Hosted Bitbucket Server

The seamless integration of development and operations is fundamental to the principles of DevOps, which are essential for maintaining the functionality of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. This work focuses on creating an automated monitoring system for a Bitbucket server hosted on an Amazon Web Services (AWS), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Linux instance. The system leverages tools such as Jenkins, AWS CloudWatch, and Simple Notification Service (SNS) to facilitate real-time monitoring and alerting. Through automation, the system will provide insights into the health of the IT infrastructure and promptly notify stakeholders in the event of any malfunctions.
