Reconfigurable and Compact Modular Polynomial Multiplier in Galois Field for the Security of IoT

The rising demand for effective cryptographic solutions in Internet of Things (IoT) applications has underscored the necessity for algorithms designed for resource-limited applications. IoT devices need optimized cryptographic solutions that strike a balance between strong security and computational efficiency due to their limited hardware capabilities, especially when dealing with large polynomial multiplication in cryptography. In this paper, a cost-efficient reconfigurable modular polynomial multiplier is proposed for general modulus polynomials. The modulus polynomial can be changed easily depending on the applications.
