A Novel OTA Test System Applied for Both Vehicles and OBUs

This paper presents a novel over-the-air (OTA) testing system designed to evaluate the antenna performance of both intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) and on-board units (OBUs). The innovative dual-coordinate co-turntable design allows for comprehensive testing in an anechoic chamber, accommodating the distinct needs of both large vehicle terminals and compact OBUs. This versatility enables accurate near-field to far-field transformations, assessing critical parameters such as total radiated power (TRP) and total isotropic sensitivity (TIS). Verification results indicate that the system meets industry standards, ensuring precise measurement capabilities across various frequencies.
