A Gain-Adjustable Resistor-Loaded Patch Antenna for Motion Radar Sensors

In this paper, A resistor-loaded patch antenna (RLPA) with flexible gain regulation is proposed. In the analysis, the loaded resistance is considered as a controlled source with certain voltage effect, and the RLPA is regarded as a modified cavity model. The electric field distribution expression of RLPA are derived by analysis, and some satisfactory results are obtained by script calculation and simulation. Finally, the experiment and measurement of the RLPA are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model.
