The life cycle of a robot can be broken down into numerous discrete stages, such as design, installation, programming, operation, and maintenance. A robot's reliability and safety can be jeopardized by a variety of problems, including software flaws, human error, hardware faults that recur, and random component failures, but errors and other faults in the robot system are either constant in frequency or exponentially distributed. Robot safety is crucial for the effectiveness of robot systems and is expected to increase as the robot population grows. When the failure rate of the robot system increases, then the repair times are exponentially also increased, and when the repair rates are constant, then the system works like new, and after this, the malfunctioning robot system will be brought back to working condition, and this will help in reallocating resources, making maintenance decisions, and increasing system availability.
