Secure Encryption Model for Sensitive Data from Text Files

In today's digital world, protecting sensitive data is essential, and encryption plays a vital role in safeguarding this information. This paper presents a study of three encryption algorithms specifically designed for text file encryption: ChaCha20, Serpent, and 3DES. A comparative analysis of these models highlights the trade-offs between speed and security. Additionally, we introduce a novel hybrid encryption model that can be efficient and add an extra layer of protection to text files. This model integrates stream and block cipher principles, drawing inspiration from established cryptographic algorithms such as ChaCha20 and Serpent. We implemented our model on ten unique text files created using the Python Faker package and analyzed the promising results.
