Design of a 3500W Air Traffic Control Transmitter for L-Band Application Based on 60V High Leakage Voltage and 5-Channel Synthesis

In this paper, 60V high-voltage drain pulse modulation technology based on N-channel MOS transistor and odd number (5 routes) power division combining technology is adopted. Through the design and simulation of key circuits, a power amplifier module with port power greater than 3500W, gain of 15dB and efficiency greater than 60% is realized in the pulse mode of ATC (1030 Mhz). It is a new step for the development of miniaturization technology of transmitter module in ATC interrogator system.
