Research on Electrically Driven Pulsed Electroosmotic Dehumidification Technology for Intelligent Safety Tool Cabinets

This paper presents an electrically driven pulsed electroosmotic dehumidification technology for intelligent safety tool cabinets, addressing the critical need for moisture control in electrical protective equipment storage. A coupled mathematical model is developed to characterize the interaction between pulsed electric fields, electroosmotic fluid flow, and dehumidification mechanisms in the system. The model integrates electrical field distribution, electroosmotic flow kinetics, and moisture removal efficiency under pulsed operation, validated through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experimental testing. Structural optimization of the dehumidification system focuses on electrode configuration and flow channel design to enhance dehumidification uniformity and energy efficiency. Experimental results demonstrate a 30% improvement in moisture removal performance and a 15% reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional systems, with stable humidity control ($<40 \% \text{RH}$) across the cabinet. The proposed approach establishes a novel framework for integrating electrokinetic pulsed electroosmotic technology into dehumidification systems, offering a scalable solution for intelligent, moisture-resistant storage of safety-critical tools in industrial and utility environments.
