Study on the Economic Operation Strategy of Virtual Power Plants Considering Carbon Measurement

With the proposal of “double carbon” goal, low carbon and economic development has become the consensus of power industry. Virtual power plant is a kind of operation mode that integrates distributed resources to participate in the power market and grid scheduling. Under the goal of “dual-carbon”, carbon constraints are an important consideration in the resource allocation and operation of virtual power plant, which is an effective carrier for the aggregation of distributed resources, such as adjustable loads, distributed power sources, distributed energy storage and carbon capture devices. As an effective carrier for the aggregation of distributed resources such as adjustable loads, distributed power sources, distributed energy storage and carbon capture devices, the virtual power plant can make full use of the adjustable resources on the load side, improve the utilisation rate of wind and solar power generation, and convert carbon emission reduction into an indicator with economic value through the reduction of carbon emissions by carbon capture. This paper considers the carbon constraints, establishes a virtual power plant scheduling model with the goal of economic optimisation, realises the low-carbon and economic operation of the virtual power plant.
