Design and Research of an Embedded Development Board Based on STM32F407

The paper aims to design a pocket-sized teaching development board based on the STM32F407 microcontroller. This research first analyzed the necessity of development. The development board consists of two parts, the core board and the expansion board. The development board integrates a variety of functional modules, including buttons, running lights, a seven-segment display, EEPROM, RS485, RS232C, a photosensitive sensor, a temperature and humidity sensor, an SD card, an LCD screen, a four-wire touch screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a four-channel stepper motor driver, a three-axis accelerometer, and a camera. The board can perform over 50 experiments, fully meeting the teaching requirements for undergraduate courses in embedded systems. Additionally, the development board reserves expansion interfaces for secondary development and functional expansion by users. It aims to provide a flexible and powerful platform for teaching and research. The development board has proven to be an ideal platform for teaching, prototyping, and pre-research of products.
