Design and Analysis of Pulse Power Ignition System Based on Voltage Controlled Devices

Pulsed power ignition systems based on voltage controlled devices such as IGBT and MCT are a major advancement in ignition technology. These systems utilize solid-state components with high-frequency switching capability to address the limitations of conventional ignition systems in terms of energy efficiency, response time, and control accuracy. This paper discusses the design points and application advantages of pulsed power ignition systems with integrated voltage control devices, and designs a pulsed power ignition circuit based on CSMCT devices.
