Huntsberger Type Double Stage Shrinkage Estimators for Shannon Entropy Function of Exponential Distribution

This article proposes two Huntsberger type double stage shrinkage estimators for the entropy function of exponential distributions. Risk functions and relative risk functions for the proposed estimators have been computed under the LINEX loss function. According to the relative risk criterion, the suggested Huntsberger type shrinkage estimators have been shown to be better than the existing estimators at smaller degrees of freedom and significance levels.
