Digital Technology-Enabled Social and Emotional Learning: Developmental Trajectories, Research Hotspots, and Emerging Challenges

In this study, 41 related literatures were analyzed through co-word analysis and social network analysis methods to systematically sort out the application vein, research hotspots and challenges of digital technologies in the field of social and emotional learning (SEL). The study shows that technologies such as virtual reality (VR), artificial intelligence (AI) and gamification have promoted the transformation of SEL education from traditional classroom model to intelligent and personalized, especially focusing on the development of special education and mental health. However, current research has ethical issues such as data privacy and algorithmic bias. In the future, it is necessary to strengthen interdisciplinary integration, optimize the adaptation of localized technologies, and balance technological innovation and ethical governance to achieve inclusive and sustainable development of SEL education.
