Iot-Based Smart Automatic Pet Feeder With Remote Monitoring

Modern lifestyles that are demanding more and more have made it difficult to practice even constant pet care especially when it comes to feeding and watering. To solve this problem an autonomous pet food and water dispensing apparatus that serves to automatically feed and water pets on an as-needed basis without having to constantly monitor their needs is proposed here. The system can sense the presence of a pet around the feeding space and drop the food items automatically so that the availability of pets to have their food in time will be guaranteed and food wastages will reduce. This regulated method keeps the pets on a regular feeding program which is a requirement of the health and wellbeing of the pet. To ensure that the functioning of the feeding system is complemented, the system also has an in-real time water-level censor of the water container of the pet. Once the water level is lower than some predetermined value, the system sends an alarm and changes the status in a web-based interface. This feature enables the owner of a pet to get to know the hydration level of his/her pet and act, wherever he/she is. Besides, the design has a remote-control interface which makes management of the supply of water easier. Owners are able to access the water pump using an internet-enabled dashboard so that they are able to maintain the water supply in the absence of its owners. This project can provide an all-inclusive method of automatized feeding combined with real-time environmental observation and remote control which will increase the reliability and efficiency of caring domestic pets as well as facilitate the task of governing them.
