Research on Integrated Source-Grid-Load-Storage Planning of Power Supply Systems for Ferroalloy Smelting Considering Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction

Addressing the critical issues of high energy consumption and carbon emissions in the ferroalloy industry, this paper investigates the load characteristics and adjustment potential of ferroalloy smelting production. A corresponding mathematical model has been constructed. By introducing new energy sources into the power supply system and integrating load regulation, waste gas power generation, and energy storage resources, an integrated source-grid-load-storage planning model for ferroalloy smelting power supply systems has been established. The planning objective unifies energy conservation, emission reduction, and economic efficiency. Optimal solutions are sought to determine the capacity configuration of each component, achieving green, low-carbon, and economically efficient indicators at the planning level for the ferroalloy energy supply system. Case studies demonstrate that under the integrated planning model, compared to traditional power supply models, smelting production profits can be increased by 30%, showing significant benefits.
