Temperature-Dependent Performance of Magnetoresistive Sensors with Linear Response Across a Wide Field Range

In this work, we investigate the temperaturedependent performance of magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ)-based sensors, highlighting their stable linear response across a broad dynamic range of magnetic fields from −80 mT to +80 mT. The sensors were tested over a wide temperature range from 70 K to 360 K, and demonstrated consistent linear behavior, showcasing their robustness against temperature fluctuations. Sensitivity measurements revealed that Stack 3 achieved the highest sensitivity at $0.18 \% / \text{mT}$, while Stacks 1 and 2 exhibited sensitivities of $0.15 \% / \text{mT}$ and $0.051 \% / \text{mT}$, respectively. The negligible change in linearity across temperatures further enhances the sensor's suitability for real-world applications. These sensors offer a promising solution for practical sensing applications, particularly where stable performance over a wide temperature and field range is required, such as in automotive, aerospace, and industrial environments.
