Model-Driven Design and Verification of Autonomous Berthing and Unberthing of Ships

This paper focuses on model-driven design and verification of autonomous berthing and unberthing of ships. It proposes a verification scheme for function-performance model-driven visual simulation technology based on the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach. First, a command-response chain is optimized through SysML-based system models to improve the operational reliability of autonomous berthing and unberthing processes. Second, ship dynamics simulation is conducted using Modelica-based performance models to evaluate navigation performance parameters under real sea conditions. Third, 3D visualization of an autonomous berthing and unberthing scenario is achieved by using a model simulation data-driven method.
