Research on Evaluation Method of Driving Assistance System

Within the landscape of the burgeoning smart transportation sector, the efficacy and security of driver assistance technologies have emerged as pivotal concerns for the public. Despite the escalating dissemination of intelligent driving innovations, there remains a critical need for refinement in existing standards and regulations. Moreover, the assessment methodologies employed are beset with limitations, hindering the accurate discernment of the strengths and weaknesses inherent in driver assistance systems. To address these challenges, this study undertakes an exhaustive analysis of the current state of evaluation within the smart vehicle driver assistance system industry, alongside its regulatory framework. Leveraging real-world driving data, we meticulously dissect the salient feature parameters characteristic of driving scenarios. Subsequently, in alignment with the distinctive driving context prevalent in China, we engineer a suite of evaluation scenarios tailored specifically for driver assistance systems. This involves the meticulous formulation of evaluation criteria and metrics. Ultimately, our devised testing methodology is applied to a cohort of twenty vehicles. The resultant data affirm the scientific rigor and practical utility of our evaluation approach in assessing the capabilities of driver assistance systems.
