Design Improvement of an Automatic Assembling Machine for Door Locks

The current study refers to door locks production technology. A particular assembling machine for door locks with upper and lower latches is described as its modular structure, combining different mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components, reveals the complexity of the posed task. For extension of the production range a supplementary section has been implemented, which is the subject of this investigation. The modeling approach proposed herein supports the design explanation.
