Ways to Reduce the Errors of a Fiber-Optic Low-Pressure Sensor

To date, the problem of measuring low pressure in narrow cavities with uneven surfaces with high accuracy (measurement error no more than 2%) and high reproducibility (up to 95%) in a short period of time (10… 30 seconds) in real time has not been solved. The problem of improving the metrological characteristics of an attenuator-reflective low-pressure fiber-optic sensor located in narrow cavities with uneven surfaces, in particular, in life support systems in medical institutions, is being solved. The errors in the interaction of the fiber-optic low-pressure sensor with the measuring object have been reduced by 5-10 times due to an increase in the contact area of the sensing element and an uneven surface in a narrow cavity and a special design of the support surface of the fiber-optic pressure sensor.
