Laboratory Stand for Research Envelope Elimination and Restoration RF Power Amplifiers

The article describes a hardware and software complex (HSC) for research the operation of envelope elimination and restoration (EER) RF power amplifier when transmitting complex amplitude-phase modulated (APM) signals. The HSC allows one to study the nonlinear distortions dependences for a number of test signals, including two-tone and OFDM, on signal clipping, envelope zero shift, envelope delay, modulation path bandwidth and phase deviation from amplitudephase conversion in various combinations. Based on this hardware and software complex, a laboratory practical course consisting of three laboratory works is implemented.
