The livestock sector accounts for 4.11% of the GDP and constitutes 25.6% of the overall GDP for farming, and About 20.5 million people make their living from farm animals. Due to improper monitoring of livestock resulted in faced 92.2 billion deaths due to health problems. Now-a-days IoT in agriculture and livestock enables real-time monitoring of environmental conditions, and animal health, optimizing resource usage and enhancing productivity and IoT facilitates remote management, automation, and data-driven decision-making, leading to increased efficiency and sustainability in farming practices. Proposed a IoT based livestock health monitoring system utilizing smart ear tag equipped with sensor for real time and accurate monitoring.
