A 10.42μW/Ch. PPG Sensor with a Zoomed Sampling Based on Velocity of Blood Flow

This work presents a 10.42μW/Ch. PPG sensor with a zoomed sampling based on blood flow velocity. The proposed sensor achieves a 53% reduction in overall power consumption while maintaining heart rate (HR) and blood oxygen saturation ($\text{SpO}_{2}$) accuracy with errors of 0.73bpm and 0.53%, respectively, showing robustness even under changes of 30bpm in HR and 6% in $\text{SpO}_{2}$.
