Next-Gen Underwater Communication: Enhancing Data Transfer With Li-Fi Technology

This study explores Traditional underwater communication methods relying on radio frequency (RF) signals face significant challenges due to high signal attenuation and limited propagation in aquatic environments. This study addresses these limitations by proposing an optimized underwater communication model based on Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) technology, which utilizes visible light for data transmission. The system employs adaptive modulation, machine learning-driven optimization, and pressure-resistant optical hardware to ensure stable, high-speed data exchange under submerged conditions. Experimental evaluation in controlled and real-world aquatic settings demonstrates significant improvements in data transmission speed, signal integrity, and energy efficiency.
