System Block Diagram to PCB Schematic and Layout Design for Food Quality Measurement System

Guaranteeing food quality and safety is a prime issue in the food industry and necessitates good real-time monitoring. This paper presents the design of a Food Quality Measurement System, which moves from a system block diagram to a PCB schematic and layout. The system relies on RFID technology, sensors, and a microcontroller to track food quality factors such as temperature, humidity, gas levels, and pH. The block diagram and also highlights prominent elements such as signal generation, modulation, power amplification, and RF detection to facilitate efficient data acquisition, processing, and wireless transmission. To achieve a small, reliable solution, the PCB design focuses on power management, component placement, signal integrity, and thermal performance. By integrating RFID and IoT technologies, the system enables real-time monitoring, data recording automatically, and enhanced traceability, facilitating better food quality control in food supply chains. The paper also covers the whole hardware design process, focusing on signal processing, power consumption, and real-time monitoring, advancing food safety technology to a new level.
