Enterprise Accounting Information System using Adaptive Genetic Algorithm and Zero Trust Architecture

Nowadays, the enterprise accounting information system is a critical component of modern enterprise management for efficient financial management and decision-making. However, the existing models faced challenges related to data security and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Hence, this research proposes an enterprise financial decision-making system by integrating Adaptive Genetic Algorithm and Zero Trust Architecture (AGA-ZTA) with blockchain audit trails. The proposed AGA-ZTA system ensures secure financial transactions and provides an immutable record of all transactions by using blockchain audit trails to allow real-time monitoring as well as compliance with financial regulations. This process begins with data acquisition and preprocessing to ensure high-quality financial data for analysis. Then, AGAs are applied to optimize allocation and financial planning by evolving solutions that maximize fitness functions based on business constraints. After that, ZTA is incorporated for dynamic access control and continuous risk verification to allow every user and device is authenticated before accessing sensitive data. Finally, the blockchain is used to create immutable audit trails for all financial activities to satisfy regulatory compliance and improve transparency. From the results, the proposed AGA-ZTA outperformed existing Cloud Computing-based Accounting System with Sensor Monitoring (CCAS-SM) in terms of accuracy (90.14%) and processing capacity (91.97%) respectively.
