Software for Finding Ayurvedic Medicines for Diseases and Properties

Ayurveda is the science of life, with a holistic approach towards health and personalized treatment. It is very well known that ayurveda can treat chronic illness which are untreatable by modern medicine. Ayurveda is gaining popularity, and people are trying to get ayurvedic treatment. For this reason, the research paper proposes a web-based Disease Diagnosis and Ayurvedic Treatment predictor system implemented on a web-based platform for easier access, this web-based application can predict the diseases from the given symptoms and give the Ayurvedic cure based on the texts from the Ayurvedic Repositories. The proposed web-application machine learning technique called Ensemble Approach which uses multiple Machine learning models to predict the results and vote for the most probable result. For the predictions, KNN, SVM, NBA, MLP and RT were utilized. The proposed system takes the symptoms data through a symptoms recommender system, which the ML models use to predict the disease. The proposed system also predicts the seriousness of the diseases, implying if the patient should get appointment with the doctors immediately. The proposed systems also give the ayurvedic treatment based on the disease and the principles of ayurveda. Furthermore, two datasets are developed consisting of symptoms-disease relation and the other consisting of disease-cure. With accuracy, precision, recall and F1-Score, the proposed model was able to give promising results on predicting the disease and the remedies.
