Think Tank: A Home Appliance and Vehicle Repair Assistance Smartphone Application With Technician Hiring and Repair Schedule Booking Features

Repairing and maintaining cars and home appliances is crucial since they extend their lives, improve their efficiency, and offer commercial opportunities. In earlier literature works, no automated online assistance system was available to consumers that offered repair shop search, repair schedule booking, and repair company fraud prediction features. There was no online repair assistance application with features for hiring repair technicians, job research, pickup delivery, work order checking, crime reporting, and repair work reminders in previous works. To overcome these restrictions, this article offers a smartphone application for home appliance and car owners that includes features like search for repair shops, scheduling of repairs, hiring technicians, detecting fraud in repair companies, reporting crimes, purchasing repair items, and work remainder. The app’s niftiness and relevancy evaluation results showed that, more than 60% of consumers dispatched highly commendable remarks on the suggested mobile application.
