Dynamic Response of Bicycle to Collision with Road Bump

This study investigates the interaction between bicycles and road bumps, focusing on the dynamic characteristics of bicycles passing over road bumps at different speeds and angles. An experimental approach was developed to control variables such as bicycle speed, tire pressure, and collision angle. The acceleration data was recorded using sensors as bicycles traversed speed bumps. The results indicate that speed and tire pressure significantly affect the stability and comfort of bicycles. By analyzing the experimental data, this research provides theoretical support and practical guidance for improving riding safety, stability, and comfort. The findings are crucial for designing safer bicycle paths.
