Blind equalization and scrambling techniques for nonstandard signal reception based on DVB-S2 (X)

This article focuses on the reception of non-standard DVB-S2 (X) signals in the DVB-S2X system. Faced with high symbol rate satellite carrier signals (such as Annex M format signals), blind channel equalization (CMA) technology can better adapt to the constantly changing transmission requirements and achieve the reception of non-standard signals for subsequent complete demodulation and decoding. In addition, traditional methods such as Kay algorithm, L&R algorithm, and M&M algorithm rely on prior information of known pilot sequences when dealing with frequency and phase offsets. However, in practical scenarios, such algorithms cannot be directly applied due to the unknown starting point of pilot signal scrambling. This article developed a fast algorithm for efficiently detecting the starting point of scrambling, providing a more reliable carrier recovery solution for DVB-S2X systems in complex channel environments.
