Design of a Raspberry Pi 4B-Based Guide Robot with YOLO-v10 Integration

This paper addresses the numerous challenges by visually impaired individuals in their daily travels by designing an intelligent guide robot based on Raspberry Pi 4B combined with YOLO-v10. The robotemploys the Raspberry Pi 4B as its core processor and integrates the advanced YOLO-v10 object detection algorithm to accurately identify obstacles and pedestrians, ensuring safe navigation in complex environments. By incorporating multiple sensors and a voice interaction system, the robot can not only avoid obstacles in real time but also intelligently plan paths based on environmental changes, providing users with intuitive navigation cues through voice prompts. Additionally, the remote monitoring feature allows family members to track the user’s location and safety status at any time, significantly enhancing the independence and travel safety of visually impaired individuals. This innovation holds substantial social application value.
