Load and Selection Policies for Setplays in the RoboCup 3D Soccer Simulation League*

This work focuses on setplays applicable to the simulated robot soccer team Bahia Robotics Team, aiming to provide an efficient solution for loading large volumes of setplays in real time during a match. This study aims to develop a library capable of managing a variable number of setplays while adhering to the current syntax for simulated robot soccer games. A novel mechanism for rapidly loading setplays into memory is presented, offering a practical solution for handling large volumes of setplays. A comparative analysis of loading times demonstrates that the proposed approach is more efficient in the selection and loading processes, contributing significantly to the scientific community and enabling its implementation in other teams, thereby enhancing competition performance.
