Research and Design of Performance Testing Methods for Network Security Audit Products

In order to study the performance test of specialized cybersecurity products, solve testing requirements of the performance added in the new national standard of GB/T 20945–2023 Information Security Technology-Technical specification for network security audit products. The performance testing metrics of network security audit products in the new national standard are analyzed, the improved software testing environment and method are designed, and the testing method using hardware tester is also designed. Through experiments, both testing methods can test the performance of audit equipment. Two network security audit products are randomly selected, and the performance tests are carried out using the testing methods designed in this paper. The performance test results of the tested products are compared and analyzed, which proved the effectiveness of the improved software test method. At the same time, this method provides a test reference for cloud audit products deployed in a virtualized online environment.
