Research on Control Strategy of Multifunctional PV-Storage Grid-Connected Converter

The PV-Storage grid-connected multifunctional converter has grid power quality management and rectification functions while realizing microgrid grid-connection. In order to realize multiple power conversion functions by using a three-phase converter with the same topology, a control strategy for the multifunctional converter is proposed. The grid-connected photovoltaic storage system determines the four operating modes of the converter based on the harmonic content of the grid current and the power generation capacity of the photovoltaic storage system, i.e., APF & inverter synchronization mode, APF mode, inverter mode and rectification mode. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified by Matlab/Simulink simulation.
