High Frequency, Primary Sided, Auto-Tuning Control System for Capacitive Wireless High Power Transfer

This paper proposes a single-sided control system for an L-compensated capacitive power transfer (CPT) system. Here, the control system counteracts disturbances of the resonant frequency so that the system can be operated at maximum power. Simplicity is prioritized in the design of the control system. This is reflected in a simple measurement method on the primary side. Finally, simulations demonstrate that the control strategy is capable of counteracting disturbances.
