Research on Thermal Runaway Alarm Framework for Lithium-ion Batteries of Electric Vehicles

This paper presents an intelligent detection system designed to predict and prevent thermal runaway in lithium-ion batteries utilized in electric vehicles (EVs). The system integrates data on temperature, voltage, pressure, and gas concentration from multiple sensors and employs machine learning algorithms for real-time condition analysis. By continuously monitoring critical parameters, the system identifies early warning signs, enabling preventive actions to be taken before thermal runaway occurs. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system enhances the safety and reliability of lithium-ion batteries, thereby contributing to the advancement of more sustainable EV technologies.
