A Structure of Real Time Dispatch and Scheduling System for Entire Factory Production

In today’s manufacturing environment, effective coordination of production activities is crucial for maintaining competitiveness and meeting customer demands. This study proposes a real-time dispatching and scheduling system tailored for entire factory operations. The system leverages algorithms such as Tabu Search, Depth-First Search, Breadth-First Search, and Simulated Annealing, combined with load balancing algorithms like Round-Robin and a multi-threaded mechanism, to achieve real-time monitoring and control of dispatching and scheduling activities. By integrating decentralized, object-oriented edge computing with resource regulation network communication algorithms, the system can respond to real-time feedback from the shop floor, swiftly adjust station assignments, and promptly modify overall production schedules. The system aims to optimize resource allocation, minimize downtime, and enhance overall productivity. It also enables rapid access to the latest estimated completion times, facilitating efficient delivery scheduling and commitment management. Furthermore, the system’s algorithmic performance is scalable and not constrained by factory size; additional production lines or machines can be accommodated simply by upgrading server specifications to accelerate operations. In a competitive market environment characterized by variable supply chain demands and high product diversity, the system enables real-time production scheduling and improves overall manufacturing efficiency. It also anticipates future order simulations for proactive resource allocation and rapidly captures the production status of each order.
