Cross Country Mobility: Solution within the DGIF Standard

In the context of geographic support to command and control systems, a great deal of attention is paid to standardisation. For geospatial data, the DGIWG has developed a standardised DGIM data model and its DGIF data framework, which should be the basis for data exchange between national geographic services. At the same time, this standard should be respected in the development of all applications for automated command and control systems. This paper presents a possible way of using the DGIF data framework to define the content of an exchange standard for solving application tasks. As an example of an application task, cross-country mobility modelling was chosen.
