Research on Soft-Start Control Method for Diodeclamped Resonant DC/DC Converter

The DC/DC converter plays a pivotal role in optimizing the performance of power electronic transformers, owing to its excellent electrical isolation and high-frequency switching characteristics. However, a pressing issue that currently plagues the DC/DC converter is the tendency for the resonant capacitor voltage and resonant inductor current to overshoot during the soft-start process, which poses a threat to the safe operation of the circuit and impedes its normal functioning. This paper focuses on the study of a clamped-resonant DC/DC converter. Initially, the operational principles of the clampedresonant DC/DC converter are analyzed. Subsequently, the resonant trajectory during the startup process is examined, and the circuit characteristics at different stages are calculated and analyzed, leading to the design of a rapid soft-start control method. Finally, simulation is conducted to validate the functionality of the proposed design. And The fast and efficient soft-start of the $2300 \mathrm{V} / 900 \mathrm{V}$ DC-DC converter has been achieved.
