Introducing the Cloud/ Series of Preconditioners for Iterative EM Simulation

Preconditioner selection for iterative solvers in electromagnetics is often a complex and problem-dependent task, requiring experience and knowledge to balance several tradeoffs, including speed and memory requirements. This work introduces the Cloud/ preconditioner which aligns numerous multi-dimensional selection attributes into a single one-dimensional spectrum, which allows easy balancing of speed against memory.
