Research on System Design and Field Application of Intelligent Wireless Temperature Monitoring Devices for Switchgear

Temperature is an important parameter to characterize the operating condition of switchgear. Currently, wireless temperature measuring devices are widely used in switchgear, but the quality of the device system is uneven, and the onsite installation is not standard and other problems are prominent. This paper analyzes the architecture of common wireless temperature intelligent monitoring systems, and puts forward the onsite application requirements such as functions, technical parameters, installation and fixing methods, and intelligent alarm strategies that should be met. The intelligent alarm rules are optimized. Finally, the overall performance assessment requirements are put forward in an innovative combination of primary equipment, including high-voltage tests such as AC voltage resistance, temperature rise, and dynamic thermal stability at different stages, which effectively improves the overall reliable operation of wireless temperature monitoring devices and switchgear.
