Design of Self-Powered System for Small Robots Based on Piezoelectric-Photovoltaic Hybrid Energy Supply

In order to solve the problems of existing small robots with weak range, poor environmental adaptability, limited capacity of conventional batteries, insufficient level of intelligence, photovoltaic power generation subject to weather constraints, lack of charging facilities, homogenization of power generation sources, insufficient power for robots, and energy wastage. A self-powered robot is designed in the study, which proposes a hybrid power source integrating piezoelectric, electromagnetic induction and photovoltaic power generation, and realizes high efficiency energy storage and power supply stability through energy management energy storage circuits. The design can improve the range of the robot and reduce the dependence on external charging in agricultural and industrial scenarios [1] [2].
