Analysis of Induced Voltage Distribution Characteristics of 220kV Submarine Optical Cable Joint Box

During the operation of 220kV AC submarine cables, the stainless steel sheath of the optical unit will accumulate induced voltage, leading to heating of the optical cable joint box and affecting its service life. This paper uses the COMSOL simulation software to establish a three-dimensional model at the position of the 220kV submarine cable repair joint box, analyzing the voltage, electric field strength, leakage current density, and induced current density of the repair joint box and optical cable joint box, providing a theoretical basis for the grounding protection design of the optical cable joint box.
