2D Wide Field-of-View (FOV) Metalens Focal Plane Array (FPA) based Silicon Photonic Beam Steering for Optical Wireless Communication (OWC)

We demonstrate a 2D silicon-photonic beam steerer based on a metalens focal plane array with a field-of-view of $51.4^{\circ} \times 6.12^{\circ}$. Data rates of $75.83-\mathrm{Gbit} / \mathrm{s}$ and $70.34-\mathrm{Gbit} / \mathrm{s}$ at center and side channels, respectively, are achieved.OCIS codes: (060.2605) Free-space optical communication; (060.4510) Optical communications
