Measured Firmware Management for Integrity of Edge Devices

Verifying the integrity of distant software stacks through remote attestation is becoming a more crucial challenge as more workload processing is performed to the edge. Therefore, even with the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), which strengthens system security, ensuring the integrity of the software stack, particularly for resource-constrained edge devices, becomes complicated. This study presents the construction of an ARM TrustZone-enabled firmware-based TPM (fTPM) in conjunction with a combined integrity measurement management strategy for edge devices.
