Analysis of HHO gas production based on the types of Electrodes for Electrolyzer

HHO gas, often referred to as brown gas, is utilized in internal combustion engines and represents a promising advancement in the quest for sustainable fuel alternatives. Recently, several research projects have focused on improving HHO generators, specifically in terms of design and electrode structures. This paper analyzes the various types of electrodes used in HHO generators and their efficiencies in hydrogen splitting. Different electrode materials, such as Nickel, G.I., S.S. 316, graphite, and spongy lead, were examined, and experimental analyses along with recommendations were made to enhance the efficiency of electrolysis in HHO generators.
